Hotel Bellerive in Zermatt is a true gem – exceptionally friendly and attentive, and managed with great care and attention to detail. The rooms are stylishly furnished and quietly situated, yet right in the centre.
The extensive breakfast buffet is simply sensational. We were particularly impressed by the juicer, which lets guests make their own apple, carrot and ginger juice. A perfect start to the day!
 

This hotel is absolutely amazing. It has a very good location, newly renovated and highly comfortable rooms, exceptionally friendly staff, and hands-on owners who are always present.
The outstanding breakfast is, in our opinion, almost impossible to beat. It exceeded our expectations. Where else would you find truffles with fried eggs or caviar for breakfast in a three-star hotel?
For us, this is clearly the best three-star hotel in Switzerland.
We wholeheartedly recommend it and will be back!

One of our favorite stays during our honeymoon trip visiting Switzerland! We stayed in the Panorama Cosy Room with Matterhorn View which was a dream each day to experience. It was so cozy and the amenities were very luxurious both in the room and onsite. The staff was amazing, so kind and helpful during our entire stay! Everything from the breakfast, restocked mini bar, retreating to the spa after long hiking days, complimentary hiking poles at reception and the shuttle service to the train made for a phenomenal and easy travel experience for us, thank you so much for a memorable trip!

You absolutely must stay at Hotel Bellerive in Zermatt!

From the welcome we received at the train station to the farewells, our stay at Hotel Bellerive was wonderful! The room was gorgeous and very well stocked. We didn’t have a Matterhorn view, but we had a beautiful balcony and comfy seats that I loved to enjoy. The railhead shower was so very luxurious. There were just so many included “extras” that made the stay perfect.

The location is about halfway between the Sunnegga station and the Glacier Paradise station with plenty of food options nearby. Walking to the train station without luggage probably took 15 minutes but we didn’t take a direct path due to shopping or stopping to explore…

A memorable stay. The service was impeccable and highly personalised. The owner is very present, meeting her guests at breakfast every morning, and the staff are attentive, available, polite and friendly. Breakfast is excellent, with plenty of choices. The rooms overlooking the Matterhorn are modern, beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. The hotel is well located, just a five-minute walk from the main street, with a bakery and grocery store around the corner. I would not hesitate to return on my next trip.

Hotel Bellerive was an absolutely fantastic, comfortable and welcoming hotel in the heart of Zermatt. We arrived mid-evening from the train, and were greeted by the front desk attendant, who was smiling and genuinely happy to welcome us. The beds were comfortable with big, fluffy down comforters, the mini-bar and coffee bar were well stocked. The balcony was a perfect place to sit for an evening glass of wine and to watch the city below. The included breakfast was amazing, offering fresh produce, breads, meats, cheeses, and a variety of other full breakfast options. As an added special touch, you will see the owners most days, working alongside their staff greeting and making guests feel comfortable. By far the best experience I’ve ever had, including those in various countries and across the US. I highly recommend the Hotel Bellerive to travelers visiting Zermatt.

Wonderful hotel with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Beautifully designed with lots of wood, a comfortable bed and plenty of storage space. We were delighted that the minibar was included when booking directly. The breakfast buffet is also superb and offers everything you could wish for: salmon, avocado, a cheese buffet, various meats, different kinds of muesli, egg dishes, freshly squeezed orange juice… Many thanks to the entire team :-)
